Marketing & Events Agency

Marketing & Events · Custom WordPress Portfolio

The challenge

The client agency, specialized in marketing and brand activations for top-tier brands, needed a website that reflected its creative level and its ability to execute high-impact projects. The main challenge was:

  • Converting a complex Figma design into WordPress: the design provided in Figma was highly detailed with specific visual requirements. The site had to be an exact replica, staying faithful to the design in every section.
  • Building functionality not available in WordPress by default: the design required multiple features WordPress doesn't offer out of the box, such as oversized text with specific typography and styles, menus with different colors per section or page, motion effects combined with content (animations, transitions, scroll effects), and floating elements that had to adapt to different screen resolutions (complex responsive behavior).
  • Keeping performance and user experience intact: despite the visual complexity and animations, the site had to load fast and deliver a smooth experience across every device.

The solution

As the development agency, our role was to take the Figma design and turn it into a fully functional WordPress site, respecting every visual and functional detail.

  • 100% custom WordPress build: we built the site from scratch, avoiding themes or page builders that could limit the implementation. Every section was custom-built to ensure maximum fidelity to the design.
  • Native CSS per page: we implemented native CSS on each page, giving us full control over styles and ensuring every section met the design's specific requirements. This was key for handling the oversized text, variable-color menus, and floating elements.
  • Custom functionality development: we coded the features WordPress doesn't offer by default in JavaScript, including animations and motion effects synced to scroll and user interaction, dynamic positioning for floating elements, and adapting every element to different screen resolutions so the design looked flawless on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Performance optimization: despite the visual complexity, we optimized the code and assets to guarantee fast load times and a smooth user experience.
  • Close collaboration with the client: we worked in close coordination with the agency's team, running periodic reviews to fine-tune details and make sure the final result was exactly what they expected.
